Brickway Brewery & Distillery

Zac Triemert is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology.  Zac received his Master’s Degree in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.  After returning to Omaha in 2006, he worked with a local State Senator to write and pass the Craft Distilling Bill into law.  He then opened Nebraska's first distillery since before Prohibition.

Zac has been a commercial brewer and distiller for the past 23 years. He founded Lucky Bucket Brewery and Cut Spike Distillery in 2007 and Brickway Brewery and Distillery in 2013.  Brickway, located in Omaha’s historic Old Market District, is now the largest distillery in Nebraska.
