Welcome Pat Schweer!

Last week Joanne Peters introduced us to new member Pat Schweer.  Pat is no stranger to Suburban Rotary.  Having just retired as Principal of our Adopt-A-School Partner, Crestridge Magnet School, we've had a lot of interaction with Pat over the last few years. 

Pat attended Dana College and UNO and worked as a Professional Educator for 37 years in the Omaha Public Schools.  She was a Special Education teacher for 12 years and an Elementary Principal for 25 years, the last 18 at Crestridge.   Under her leadership, Crestridge received numerous national awards including Magnet School of Excellence Award.

Pat is married to Brad who is a retired attorney.   They have two adult children- Brad Jr.  and his wife, Adrienne in Virgina with Pat's granddaughter, Flora.  Pat and Brad also have a daughter ,Brittany, who lives in Colorado and is a newlywed having married Jonathan Dinsdale Rogers in September.

 Newly retired, Pat enjoys visiting with friends and family, yoga, and walking her dogs. She is looking forward to volunteering with Suburban Rotary. Welcome, Pat!
