Last week Kathryn Schubert served as President for Nick Jasa. Eli McNichols, Jeremy Nichols, and Amanda Fink served as greeters and Kelly Adams gave our invocation. Terry Ferguson and Duane Gross hosted our new member mingle tables. We had several announcements and a new member introduction. Curt Peters also introduced the new exchange students. Steve Thornburg introduced Keely Byars who talked about the changing newspaper business and the history of the Omaha World-Herald.
The RISK bag was at $115 and Tracy Rowland won a free lunch for the second week in a row.

Last week Lou Smetana introduced us to new member Barbara "Barb" Rebrovich.
Barb was a member of Omaha North Rotary for 17+ years, having served in several chapter officer positions, including twice as President. She is a Paul Harris fellow and a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute.
Barb has worked in development and fundraising in the higher education world for most of her professional career, including Metro Community College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and worked the past 8 years as Director of Development for two Omaha non-profits.
Barb is a lifetime member of the Council for Resource Development, having served most recently as national vice-president of communication and marketing. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Barb has a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UNK.
Barb has two married daughters, one living here in Omaha and one living in the Denver area. She enjoys spending time with four wonderful grandkids and two beagle grandpups. She also loves Husker football and UNO Mavericks hockey. Welcome, Barb!

Prospect Hill Cemetery, the oldest pioneer cemetery in Omaha, 3202 Parker Street, has an agreement with Suburban Rotary to Adopt-A-Plot of grounds to keep tidy all during the growing season. Please consider coming for one of the following future Saturday's, from 10 a.m.-noon, and help weed whack, rake yard waste, sweep the curbs, pick up sticks and pick up litter. Attendance credit guaranteed for your two hour effort. The following Saturdays include: August 25 and September 22nd. Please contact Ward Peters and have some fun on the beautiful grounds.
