Last week Roger Utman and Jack Hosking served as greeters. Mike Fosdick gave the invocation. We had several announcements and a new member introduction. Secretary Dave Laferla recognized several October birthdays. Craig Moody spoke to us about his campaign for the OPPD Board. David Kutler introduced Omaha Chamber of Commerce CEO David Brown. David Brown talked to us about the marketing campaign of the Chamber. The RISK bag was at $363 and Nate Schwalb won a free lunch.

Welcome Ann O'Connor!

Last week Dave Laferla introduced us to new member Ann O'Connor. Ann is the President of Roncalli Catholic School. Ann is a UNO graduate with a BA in Psychology and a Master's degree in Public Administration. Ann is also an adjunct professor at UNO, teaching Management and Administration classes.

She is also an active community member serving on the City of Omaha Administrative Board of Appeals, the St. Pius X/St. Leo School Educational Fund, and a Board member of the Coalition on Human Trafficking in addition to other groups.

Ann is married to Tim Davlin and they have a son who is a senior at UNO. She has 2 cats and enjoys working on social justice issues, golf, and movies in her free time.

Monster Mash-volunteers needed!

The annual Monster Mash to support childhood obesity prevention programs at Children's Hospital is coming up on October 23rd. Volunteers are needed on Friday 10/21, Saturday 10/22, and race day on 10/23. Go to the website suburbanrotary.org and select CALENDAR the click on Monster Mash Volunteers to select a volunteer slot.
