Last week Roger Utman and Andy Goranson served as Greeters. Gary Piercy gave the invocation. Jordan Walker introduced Magician Joe Cole who selected Curt Peters as his "helper" and a good time was had by Rotarians and their many guests. Thank you to Jordan Walker and Rich Craig and the Fellowship Committee for this fun event!

Rotary Foundation

It's your last chance to support the Rotary Foundation before the end of the year. Go to myrotary.org to give online. You will need your member # (it's on your Rotarian magazine or in our website by logging into your membership information).

In this 100th Anniversary year of the Rotary Foundation, the committee will also be recognizing all Paul Harris Sustaining Members (donations of $100 or more this Rotary year) with a special 100th Anniversary pin. (If you have not gotten your pin yet and have been at a meeting where we are handing them out, please let Jennifer know- we don't want to miss anyone!)

The Rotary Foundation is the charity of Rotary. Through Rotary grants, people around the world are served with educational opportunities, health services, clean water, vaccinations, and nutrition. We ask every Rotarian to consider a gift of $100 each year (Every Rotarian Every Year) toward these programs. Thank you to those who have donated this year already! District Grants

This year our club applied for and received several District Grants including one to provide ipads and cochlear implant loaner devices to the Boys Town Center for Childhood Deafness and for Rotaractors to package toiletries for Youth Emergency Services. These projects are possible because of 1.) Your donations to the Rotary Foundation (the money comes back to us through grants) and 2.) your donations to our local Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation. Your generosity has impacted many this year!

Rotary Book Club

The next book selection is "The Meaning of Names" by Karen Shoemaker. We will meet to discuss this on January 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Book Worm.
