Last week Tiffany Baker and Matt Darling served as Greeters. Jeff Andersen gave the invocation.  David Gerard and John Quinn led the singing.  President Roxy Orr recognized David Kutler as a Rotarian that "Lights Up Rotary" for all his work on the Monster Mash.   Substitute Secretary Jared Bakewell introduced Jeff Bakewell as the "Rotarian of the Day".  Jack Hosking introduced Ben Sasse who talked about his vision for the country and answered questions on his positions on the issues. The RISK bag was at $573 and visiting previous member Gary Keller won a free lunch.

Congratulations to Don Leu and Mike Wicht who received their permanent badges last week for completing all their Yearlings requirements !

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 23rd, 430-7pm for an After Hours hosted by Nate Schwalb at Hillsborough Pointe Apts. Clubhouse.  2 blks north of 144th and Maple-  North of Home Depot.  This will be Halloween-themed with spooky treats and drinks.  No costumes needed- masks on sticks provided at the door.

Save the date for the November Keep the Kids Warm After Hours at Lindley Clothing on November 20th.   Will feature food from Frank's pizza, beverages, and music by Mark Sanford.  Donations of gently used coats kids and adults are appreciated and cash donations to purchase clothing/coats.

Join the Omaha Chapter of the Rotarian Wine Appreciation Fellowship for an evening of - well, wine, fellowship and Rotary!

Cost to be determined, but we will have a tasting menu of 3 red wines, 3 white wines, and 1 dessert wine along with paired tastings of heavy appetizers.  
*Cost is dependent on the number of people that sign up, but expected to be $27.50 per person.

Rotarians, spouses and guests are welcome to this fellowship event.
