Virtual After Hours This Thursday!
Join us this Thursday for a fun event and learn more about your fellow Rotarians.   We will hear updates from attendees about their business/work life, get a virtual tour, and play a game.  This will be held on Zoom and is BYOB.  You can participate on your computer, tablet, or phone (even from outside!).   Member and serial entrepreneur,  Tumi Oluyole,  will give us a tour of a couple of his businesses: Jan-Pro and Oceans Drive Transportation (more info below). Zoom info will come out on an evite to you tomorrow.
Schedule is as follows- Hosted by Zach Ziler
  • 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm           Rotarians share ways they or their business have changed/grown during the quarantine.
  • 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm           Tumi gives a presentation/virtual tour
  • 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm           “The Book of Questions” game with Rotarians
Jan-Pro Of Omaha:
Tumi Oluyole and his team members at Jan-Pro of Omaha ain’t afraid of no dusts, germs, viruses, bacterias, SARS, H1N1s, Ebolas, Influenzas or the most recent CoVid19. The employees of Jan-Pro of Omaha look like they belong in the cast of “Ghostbusters” as they are now as essential as our fire fighters. They wear professional-grade vacuum backpacks and use the latest technology to eliminate their enemy – in this case, dust, dirt and grime. Right now, they have a one-of-a-kind disinfecting solution called EnviroShield. JAN-PRO’s EnviroShield system uses a disinfectant that is EPA-rated as the safest in its class while being powerful enough to kill 99.9% of harmful bacteria, including MRSA, H1N1, E Coli and Listeria. The EnviroShield equipment features an electrostatic nozzle designed for specific areas and applications. The negative charge causes the disinfectant to cling to and fully cover every surface it touches – thus providing total disinfection. Jan-Pro opened its first franchise in Nebraska in 2003 to provide professional cleaning services to businesses in Nebraska and portions of western Iowa. For more information please contact Tumi at 402-493-4516 or
Oceans Drive Transportation

At Oceans Drive Transportation, we understand that non-emergency medical transportation is a core solution for patient care. For some, access poses a major problem. Getting to appointments and having reliable transportation is a barrier that a vast majority of the population faces. Getting to medical appointments is essential to the health of many within the community. Not having a valid driver’s license, a dependable vehicle or simply not being able to travel alone due to physical, cognitive and mental impairments are common dilemmas that many people face daily. At Oceans, we are committed to providing the best non-emergency medical transportation services in Omaha and the greater metropolitan area. For more information please contact Tumi at 531-213-2211 or
Parade of Support for Harry Reyburn
Thank you to everyone who turned out in support of Harry Reyburn last week. It was wonderful to see so many caring Rotarians last week (from a safe distance!).  You can see more photos on Facebook.
Changing of the Guard at Werner Park!
Please mark Thursday, June 25th for our annual Changing of the Guard meeting.  This is traditionally a great meeting where we "roast" the outgoing administration in a fun skit. This year's skit will be on the jumbo screen.
You MUST be pre-registered to attend this event.  Lunch will be turkey sandwiches, chips, cookie, and water in a "to go" box for pick up for you. Cost is $16 and you CAN use your lunch ticket.  If you want to use a lunch ticket, please send Jennifer an email to register yourself.   If you don't have a lunch ticket, please CLICK HERE to register/pay online.
The meeting program will take place on the ball field, and the seating will be set up to allow for social distancing. This will be a super fun meeting and we hope ALL of you can attend.  We are taking every precaution to allow you to do this safely.
A special thank you to Omaha West Rotary President and Storm Chasers President, Martie Cordaro for making this happen.
Dues are Due June 1st!
Annual dues invoices went out via email last week. If you didn't get one, please let Jennifer know.  Dues are due by June 1st.  We have monthly payment plans and financial assistance available if you have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Please do not leave Suburban Rotary- you are important to our club and our community. Please reach out to Jennifer for confidential assistance.  CLICK HERE to pay dues online.
Elmwood Rotary Golfers
Our Suburban Rotary Golf 🏌️‍♀️ group is forming again this year to play on Tuesdays at Elmwood Golf Course.  We usually tee off around 11:30 am and play 18 holes.  Weekly we send out an e-mail to everyone on our golfer list. Once we hear back we schedule enough tee times to match the number of players.
We pair up in foursomes at the course and then head out.  You don’t have to play every week and you don’t have to be a great golfer, we just want to know you are coming so we can have enough tee times.  Women are welcome.
Contact Jeff Moran, Frank Goldberg, or Herb Hartman to get on the weekly e- mail list.
Monthly Meeting Sponsor

Thank you to Kathryn Schubert/Merrill Lynch for

sponsoring our meetings during the Month of June.

(Please contact Jennifer to be a monthly sponsor)

Support our friends at Anthony's
Obviously Anthony's is missing our business as well as that of many other groups.   If you would like to help them and the workers, consider order takeout from them.   They are also offering cook out packages for your grill.  You can call 402-331-7575 and place your order on the phone and they will bring it out to you.   All tips are being put into a pool for all the servers, so be generous!
Make Up at Other Clubs
I will be listing times/links for online meetings for clubs around the area. Join and get a make-up!
