Meeting re-cap 4/2

Last week Eric Stueckrath and Aaron Gunderson served as Greeters. Jason Currie gave the invocation. Roxy recognized Ward Peters and John Hoich as the "Light Up Rotarians" for their work on the Prospect Park Cemetery clean-up. We had several announcements and presentations. Fundraising Chair Kathryn Schubert recognized the newest Scholarship Circle members. Secretary Nick Jasa introduced Renee Hardester as the "Rotarian of the Day." Bob Perrin introduced Ed Walsh who talked about their research at Boys Town National Research Hospital in regards to hearing loss especially in military veterans. The RISK bag was at $644 and Karen Bremer won a free lunch.

Annual Suburban Rotary Fundraiser-THANK YOU!

Thank you to all those who donated to our Annual Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation fundraiser. You are incredibly generous! We will continue to recognize President Scholarship Circle members until all have been recognized.

We raised $48,966.16 including the Baxter-Kenworthy Volleyball proceeds.

Omahan and Suburban Rotarian of the Year Nominations

The Four-Way Test Committee has begun the SEARCH for the Omahan and Suburban Rotarian of the Year. They are seeking all Suburban Rotarians to help in recommending an outstanding person in our community and an outstanding Suburban Rotarian. Qualifications are simple: Do they follow the 4-way test in their work place and community.

2. Is it Fair to all concerned?

3. Will it build Good will and Better Friendships

4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned

Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Starting this week, volunteers will be at the back to take your reservation and payment for the Annual Scholarship Luncheon. This will be on Thursday, May 14th. This is our DO NOT MISS event of the year. You will leave inspired!
