Welcome Andrew Galvin!
Last week Tom Kerfoot introduced us to new member Andrew Galvin.  Andrew was born and raised in Omaha, went to college here at UNO, and after graduation started working at TD Ameritrade. After a couple of years there he moved over to Stifel where he works as a Financial Advisor. When he is not working with clients you can find him out in the community with the Omaha Jaycees, a group dedicate to Young Professional development, or presiding over his Wednesday Optimist club’s lunch meeting as its President. Outside of work and community involvement he enjoys playing golf, staying active, and relaxing with friends.  Welcome, Andrew!

Welcome Brad Hansen!
Last week Kevin Welsh introduced us to new member, Brad Hansen.   Brad is the Chief Operating Officer of Shred Vault – a new Omaha-based company that developed a revolutionary new kiosk to make paper shredding more convenient to every household.  Prior to joining Shred Vault, he held executive positions at Boy’s Town National Research Hospital as well as Methodist Health System.  He's a recovering attorney, having practiced a few years in Chicago as a corporate attorney, and before that, he served in the Iowa Legislature as a State Representative for Council Bluffs and Carter Lake from 1997 – 2003 where he focused my time on legislative issues in healthcare.

Brad is a native of Missouri Valley, IA  and holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and a Master's and law degree from the University of Iowa.  Brad is married to Suzanne and they have three children.   In his free time, Brad works on anything related to taking care of a 50 year old home.  As you might expect, his family has an ongoing battle Hawkeyes v. Huskers and they enjoy traveling to Florida in the winter. Welcome, Brad!

Suburban Foundation Recognition
Last week Tom Kerfoot recognized John Binderup and Katie Henry as Patrons of Suburban Rotary for their cumulative donations of  $5,000 to the Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation.  Donations to Our local Foundation support our scholarship program, our District grant projects like meal packaging and the homeless foot clinic, our exchange students,  and many more things.  Congratulations and thank you!
