Last week David Jacobs and Patrick Moylan served as greeters. Cindy Kinsler gave the invocation. We had several announcements and presentations. Holly Hollenbeck recognized all those who sponsored new members this year with a free lunch to bring another guest to Rotary. John Ryan introduced Brad Ashford who talked about his public service and the upcoming election issues. The RISK bag was at $425 and Dave Laferla won a free lunch.

Paul Harris Recognition

Last week Foundation Chair Howard Epstein recognized Roxy Orr as a Paul Harris Fellow +5 for her donations of $6000 to the International Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation supports causes around the world including health, nutrition, literacy, and disease-eradication efforts.

In this 100th Anniversary year of the Rotary Foundation, the committee will also be recognizing all Paul Harris Sustaining Members (donations of $100 or more this Rotary year) with a special 100th Anniversary pin. Howard handed out many of these to early donors last week. Foundation month kicks off in a week!

Monster Mash

Thanks to all those who helped with the Monster Mash this weekend! Preliminary numbers indicate $30K raised for Children's hospital childhood obesity prevention efforts and around 600 participants.
