Service Opportunities

Want to enjoy the great outdoors and enjoy being above ground?  Then come to the next Adopt A Plot yard waste clean up at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 3202 Parker Street, where our club has made a commitment to return every three weeks to tidy up a visible section of the oldest cemetery in Omaha.  Our next time to get 'er done is Saturday, August 17th at 9:00 a.m.  We rake, sweep, weed whack, pick up sticks and litter and make the grounds look respectable.   Cookies and blisters galore!  Future Saturday Adopt A Plot clean up days include:  9/14.  Contact Ward Peters and join in on the fun!

Thank you to everyone that helped work the grill on Friday night for Nebraska Children's Home neighborhood celebration.  See more photos on Facebook.

On Saturday, September 7th, Rotarians will be working with nursing students at the Lydia house of the Open Door Mission, using funds from our District Grant to outfit needy women and children with new shoes and foot exams.  Volunteers are need for that day.  CLICK HERE to sign up.

After Hours
Mark your calendar for our next After Hours event hosted by Michael McCormick/AOI.     Wednesday, August 21st 4:30-7.

AOI provides solutions for the built environment through construction, modular systems, furniture and architectural products.  We are a leader in designs and technologies that improve the human experience wherever people work, learn, heal and live.  Our Learning Center features multiple applications of these solutions in a working office environment.  Drinks and light eats will be provided at the event, along with maybe a cornhole game or two.  Bring a friend or family member for a fun evening!
