Last week Erin Cohrs and Magan Smith served as our Greeters. Joe Sequenzia gave our invocation. We had several presentations and announcements.  Michelle Schrage introduced Rob LaMagna-Reiter who talked about how to protect your business from cyber threats. The RISK bag was at $163 and Kevin Welsh won a free lunch.

Charlene Tierney Citations 
Last week Foundation Chairperson Kathryn Schubert recognized Dave Wilson and Julie Sherman with Charlene Tierney citations for their cumulative donations of $1000 to the local Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation.

Livestream Questions for Credit
In an email last week you were informed that Suburban Rotary was trying a pilot for 4 weeks to give attendance credit to those who watched our Livestream or video of the meeting via Facebook.  If you would like credit (only if you missed the meeting) please answer the following questions in an email to Jennifer before this Friday, September 1st.

2. TRUE or FALSE - It is best practice to always download your app from your trusted App Store. 
3. TRUE or FALSE - To help prevent security breach, it is important to install updates on your operating system.

 
50th Anniversary Family Event at the Zoo Sun, Sept 24th
50th Anniversary Event at the Zoo
When: Sunday, September 24th- Zoo is open from 9-5 lunch will served at the Sea Lion Pavilion
What: Zoo admission, IMAX ticket, Skyfari, train, tram, and carousel admission, and a catered lunch
Cost: $10 per person thanks to our generous 50th anniversary sponsors. Limited to family such as Rotarian and spouse or guest, kids, and grandkids.  Others are welcome but cost is $33 per person. No zoo passes accepted.
More info: 50th Anniversary t-shirts will be provided for all members (get your size on the sign-up).  Additional t-shirts for family members can be purchased for $10 each.

About Us 
Deepest sympathy to Dick and Barbara Skalla. Their son, Rick Skalla, passed away suddenly in Minnesota last week. The visitation will be in Minnesota but the graveside service will be here in Omaha on Friday, September 1st at 11am at Calvary Cemetery, 7710 W. Center Rd.  In lieu of lowers, memorials are suggested to the Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases Research Center at Columbia University Medical Center.
 
Dick and Barbara's address is 16312 Hascall St. Omaha, NE 68130. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers.   The link to Rick's obituary is here. 
Rotary Book Club
The next book selection is "Me Before You" by JoJo Moyes.  They meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month (September 12th) at  Wheatfields 108th and Pacific. Please contact Lisa Neu with any questions.
