Last week Joe Sequenzia and Tiffany Baker served as our greeters. Jasmine Alvarado gave our invocation.   Secretary Dave Laferla introduced our guests and recognized birthdays and "brag for bucks".  We had several announcements and presentations.   Monique Devillier introduced Christi Piti who talked about the Father Flanagan Society and their efforts to get him to be recognized as a saint by the Vatican. The RISK bag was at $959 and Dick Miller won a free lunch.

 

 

 

Last week Jeremy Nichols introduced us to new member John Steier.  John is the Assistant Vice President for Commercial Real Estate at Great Western Bank.  John is originally from Omaha and attended college at UNO and earned his MBA from Creighton.   

 

John is married to Rachel and they have 2 young children; Charlotte and Benjamin.  They also have a poodle named Stella.   In his free time, John enjoys golf, Creighton basketball, UNO hockey, and Husker football. He is also an active volunteer in Omaha.  Welcome, John!

 

Congratulations to Cindy Kinsler-7 years, Dick Caulk- 38, Jared Bakewell- 7, Dan Lupardus- 2, and Kathryn Schubert -8 who were recognized for perfect attendance last week!

Congratulations to Karen Rolf who completed all of her Yearling requirements and received her permanent badge last week.

The Membership Committee is conducting a contest between now and April 20th.   The 8 members who bring the most guests to visit Rotary during this time frame will receive a special lunch (at no charge) with table service and dessert on April 27th!  You know how much fun you have at Rotary- why are you keeping it a secret?  Who do you know that would enjoy being part of our fabulous group?
