Our Rotary Foundation Committee (the charitable arm of Rotary Intl) will be bringing you a "Rotary Foundation Minute" each week this fall. The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary. The Foundation transforms donations into service projects.
District Grants Districts choose which activities to fund through district grants so that they and their clubs can address needs in their communities and beyond. These projects are generally for smaller, short term projects. There are not many restrictions for these as long as they support the mission of the Foundation. Examples of recent district 5650 grants include: *The Multi-Club Meal Packaging Project *Suburban’s Tree Seedlings for School Kids *Suburban’s Foot Clinic for the Homeless *Bellevue/Papillion —Helping Children Displaced by Flooding *Ashland- Playground Equipment *The District-Wide Food Bank Drive A complete list of projects can be found on the District’s website. |
