I’m happy to tell you that my husband Bob’s health situation looks good. We just learned that the infection had not reached his bone as originally thought and, with lots of good care, he should recover in time. I will now be extending my title to “Sister Nurse Mary Mary.”
Thank you for your many prayers, well wishes and offers of help. I am so grateful to be part of this extraordinary club. To all of you dealing with illness and death, please reach out and tell Jennifer or me. We want to help.
We are resuming in-person hybrid meetings this week! Please register in advance to attend in-person. At this time, only people eating lunch are able to attend. Cost is $17 and will be plated. Consider purchasing a 10 lunch ticket to make weekly registration easier. If you already have a lunch ticket, please send Jennifer an email or call to register.
Please plan to join us every Thursday at noon for our regular meeting. The meeting will open at 11:45 for greetings. The meetings will start at 12:10 starting this week.
We are excited to bring you Rotary International Secretary General John Hewko next week on February 4th and Rotary Intl. Polio Plus Chair Mike McGovern on February 18th. Please mark your calendar to hear from these speakers!
Last week Kathryn Schubert moved to accept the nomination of Monique Devillier to serve as Sgt. at Arms for the 21-22 Rotary year. Joe Sequenzia seconded. The motion passed. Congratulations to Monique!
