Last week Trustee Chair, Dave Laferla, recognized many generous Rotarians for their cumulative giving to our local Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation. Thank you to all these members!

Soles for Souls

Bring your shoes to donate to Rotary on Thursday, April 13th for collection to support our Soles for Souls initiative with Crestridge School. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mary Bernier

Rotary Happy Hour

West Rotary has organized monthly Happy Hours to give Rotarians from all metro clubs a change to mingle in an informal setting. Our next Happy Hour is Thursday, April 13th at the Public House in Rockbrook Village. 430-7pm

Recycle Your Electronics!

Suburban Rotary will be sponsoring an Electronics Recycling event on Saturday, April 29th from 9-12noon. Please tell your friends. We need 2 more volunteers to help from 8:45 am- 10:30. Let Jennifer know if you'd like to sign up.

Rotary Book Club

The next Rotary Book Club book is "The Splendid and the Vile" by Erik Larson. The book is a saga of Churchill, Family and Defiance during the Blitz. It was a #1 New York Times Bestseller.

The next Book Club date is Tuesday, April 11, at 5:30 at Bonefish Grill in Regency. The book is 503 pages. Because of the length, we are reading half the book for April Discussion (thru Chapter 52), and the other half for May discussion (there are 101 Chapters).

All are welcome!!!

Omaha Morning Rotary and Northwest Rotary are holding joint meetings at a new location - the First Responders Foundation, 10605 Burt Circle, Omaha, NE 68114.

Update on Weekly Rotary Meeting:

As a result of the recent Club Assembly, Omaha Morning and Omaha Northwest will continue to merge meetings and will be alternating the meeting time on a monthly basis as follows:

February 2023 - Morning
March 2023 - Lunch

April 2023 - Morning

May 2023 - Lunch

June 2023 - Morning

Unless requested by the speaker, Omaha Morning will continue the meeting in hybrid format. This means Morning meetings will be available both in person and in zoom.

Wednesday: Omaha Downtown at Noon at the Field Club

Friday: Omaha West at Noon at Biaggi's.
