Meeting re-cap 5/24/18
Last week Sarah Kalhorn-Wisecup and Ian Vickers served as Greeters. Roger Utman gave the invocation.  We had several announcements and presentations as well as recognition of the veterans in our club. Herb Hartman presented a check to Boots N' Suites United on behalf of the Military Affairs committee. Roger Morrissey introduced Jim Meier who talked about the Nebraska Honor and Remember program. We also heard from a Gold Star family on the meaning of the program.  The RISK bag was $31 and Jeff Moran won half the pot.

Service Opportunities
A fantastic opportunity for Rotarians to serve is coming up June 9th with Project Everlast.  Rotarians will help train at-risk youth leaving foster care on how to prepare a resume, apply, for a job, open a bank account, and more.   This is great way to give back to the community and help youth.   Please CLICK HERE to sign up for a shift.  More details will be available from Holly Hollenbeck at Thursday's meeting.  We are also looking for gently-used career clothing. Please bring it to a meeting.
