It can be a gag gift, a real gift, or a white elephant. We will also have special holiday treats and spirited holiday music. Ring in the holiday season with jingle bells and a Ho! Ho! Ho! Come and join us for a merry, good time.

 Rotary Guest Day A Success

We Need More Rotarians!

Ten local leaders visited the club on Thursday, December 5, 2024, on  Rotary Guest Day! Several expressed interest in becoming members. There was an energy and excitement and a great sharing of Rotary spirit. We will have another Guest Day in January so watch the bulletin for updates. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to invite prospective members to join us. The best part? Rotary will cover the cost of your guest's lunch!

For questions, please contact Membership Chair, Bruce Lemen, at bruce.lemen@npdodge.com.

Governor Tom's December Message
Holiday greetings to you all! I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had time to spend with friends and family. As we enter the holiday season, I know many Rotarians and their clubs will be participating in service projects to help those less fortunate in our communities. Thank you all so much for your heart of service. We truly are "People of Action".

In December Rotary highlights the work that we do for Disease Prevention and Treatment around the world. We are fortunate here and we believe that good health care is everyone's right. However, 400 million people around the world either cannot afford or do not have access to even basic health care.

I am thankful that we belong to an organization that leads efforts, both large and small, to treat and prevent disease. We set up temporary clinics, blood donation centers and training facilities in underserved communities that struggle with outbreaks and access to healthcare. Our members combat a number of diseases around the world, including the eradication of Polio.

In order to continue this fight, please consider giving to the Rotary International Foundation. Thank you to those who gave during the November foundation campaign.

Thank you for all that you do as Rotarians and I hope that you are able to gather with family and friends during the holiday season. I wish all of you and your families seasons blessings and good cheer during the holidays!

Yours in Rotary,
Tom Kerfoot, District Governor
