Last week Rex Ekwall and Roxy Orr served as greeters. Rebecca Vinton gave the invocation. We had several presentations and announcements. Jim Lyle Sapp introduced Past President and CEO of Omaha Home for Boys, Jeff Moran. Jeff talked about the Home and the good work they are doing helping at-risk boys. The RISK bag was at $618 and Rose Mary Hefley won a free lunch.

Rotary Foundation Major Donors

Last week Howard Epstein made a special presentation to Frank Goldberg of recognition from the Rotary Foundation. Frank and Leanne were recognized as Major Donors Level 2 which means their cumulative giving has reached $25,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Thank you for your incredible generosity over the years!

Welcome Mark Roberts!

Last week Taylor Breen introduced us to new member Mark Roberts. Mark is a director at Expense Reduction Analysts which is a global consulting company that helps organizations improve their cash flow by working to reduce costs across the organizations' vendor bases. Mark's primary business focus for ERA is in eastern Nebraska, western Iowa, and eastern South Dakota.

Mark previously worked at two large utility companies, two large mining companies and had his own consulting practice. Mark holds a BS in Industrial Administration from Iowa State and an MBA from Drake University.

In his free time, Mark likes spending time with his family, reading, and running. He has run in over 100 competitive races and has done two 52K races! Welcome, Mark!

Permanent badge

Congratulations to Rebecca Vinton who completed all of her Yearling requirements and received her permanent badge last week.

Record numbers of Rotarians are registering for the Rotary Convention in Atlanta this summer including a large contingent from our club. Many of you have already reserved your hotel rooms (if you haven't- do so asap-they go fast!). The next deadline is convention registration.
