Thank you all of the wonderful volunteers and donors for our 3 Red Cross Blood Drives. We saw a couple of videos featuring our own Mark Roberts at the last two meetings. CLICK HERE to see some photos of one of our drives last week featured in the World- Herald. - Three drives over 12 days
- Of 140 donor opportunities, we had 135 potential donors come to our sites
- And 45% of those 135 potential donors were 1st time donors (at least on Red Cross system)
- 123 units of blood were collected, which by Red Cross’s calculations has the potential to save 369 lives
- Nine Rotarians helped at the drives (thank you Bob Kment, Deanna Fuller, Karen Rolf, Elizabeth Hallgren (West), Eli McNichols, Chris Pfanstiel, Alex Pearson (West) and Nick Rosenberry (West)) We also had many Rotarian donors!

In addition to the meal distribution sites, we also have an opportunity called Kids Cruisin’ Kitchen where meals are passed out to children throughout the summer. It is looking like we will need more volunteers by July and August. If this is something you or your members have interest in, please let me know and I will get them the specific information needed to enroll in this.
