Last week we honored the late Andy Goranson as our Rotarian of the Year for his service and generosity.  His wife, Abby, came to accept the award. 

 

 

 

 

Congratulations to Theresa Kelly who was recognized as the Dr. Sol Kutler Yearling of the Year last week.  (Dr. Sol was a Past President who started the Yearlings program). Theresa was a very active member who organized the Life House diaper drive event for us.  

 

 

 

We hope to have a strong showing in support of District Governor Roxy Orr at her in-person District Conference.  Please CLICK HERE to register.

President-Elect Dave Laferla announced last week that the 50% attendance requirements will resume on July 1.  We will be scanning badges upon entry starting in July. Make-ups can be made at After Hours, service projects, committee meetings, visiting other clubs, and by attending on Zoom.

 

A Zoom meeting fee of $10 will apply to attendees and you must be on by 12:20 to get attendance credit. You can pay online weekly or purchase a Zoom card on our website (top right). 

 

100%ers will be recognized again starting in July.  Jennifer will be contacting previous 100%ers to see if you will continue each month.  We will go on the honor system that you had had 100% during covid or you can skip the year.

If you have not yet paid dues, please do so as soon as possible.  Pay your 21-22 Annual Dues online or by mail.   We ask all payments to be made by June 1st so we may pay Rotary Intl. on your behalf.

Prospect Hill Cemetery Adopt-A-Plot 2021, Future Dates and Time

 

 

Want to help spruce up one of the oldest cemeteries in Omaha at 3202 Parker Street?  Below are the dates to come and pitch in for any period of time you can spare between 8 a.m. and Noon.  Bring your own work gloves.  If you have a rake, broom, weed-whacker or a favorite yard tool, please bring it and put it to use.  Any questions, please call Ward Peters at 402- 551-6121.  Volunteers at any of our service projects get a Rotarian at Work t-shirt.
