Last week re-cap

Last week we kicked of 2020 with a fun meeting featuring Jim Smith from Blueprint Nebraska as our speaker. Kathryn Schubert's kids served as Greeters. Mary Bernier gave the invocation and Marlene Sullivan was Chair of the Day. We had a new member introduction as well. The RISK bag was at $83 and John Hoich won a free lunch.

Welcome Theresa Kelly!

Last week Kevin Welsh introduced us to new member Theresa Kelly.

Theresa Kelly is a Nebraska native with over 5 years’ experience owning a horticulture business. Her love for crop production developed in Omaha and ultimately carried her to Washington state.

A little over a year ago, Theresa redirected her professional focus, moved back to Nebraska, and is currently pursuing a lifelong desire to make an impact through the legal sector by attaining her law degree.

Today, Theresa works full time at Erickson Sederstrom where she supports staff, attorneys and firm operations. She appreciates the opportunity to build rapport with her colleagues and deliver exceptional performance to the firm, which openly supports her professional objectives.

When she takes a moment to surface from her professional pursuits, Theresa is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys getting outside, target shooting, snowboarding, wake boarding, bike riding, and reading.

Theresa joins the Suburban Rotary club to further her personal and professional development, having only been recently introduced to the Rotary and it's outstanding organization by Mr. Kevin Welsh. She looks forward to connecting, growing, and giving back. Welcome, Theresa!

Thanks to all who rang bells in November and December: We raised $2399.58 represents a 39% increase over last year's total of $1,727.24.

Thanks to all who volunteered for Santa Shoppe at Crestridge. Suburban Rotary gave $1500 to stock a gift shop for the students to select items for family members. See our photos on Facebook.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 15th when we will do the multi-club meal packaging project again.
