Hello Suburban Rotarians,
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend Rock-a-Hula last Friday! Bob and I had a great time! Thanks also to Sara Huse for creating that great invitation, and Jared Bakewell, Tom Kerfoot and Bob Perrin for lending equipment and my friend Gina Noland for all of her help and support.
Most of all, thank you to John Hoich being the perfect host! John did so much work to prepare for us.
We are so fortunate to be Suburban Rotarians! You are simply the best!

Thanks to the Environmental Committee and volunteers who helped plant at the Florence Home a few months ago.  We received an email from
the Florence Home Activity Director and thought we would share it with you:
The note read “Today is the 1st day of Fall and we are still harvesting the vegetables!!! Oh what a blessing of you all bring to the residents here everyday”.
Last Chance to play the RISK wheel for October!
Secretary Marlon Lofgren is excited to bring you a new game with a potentially BIG payout.   RISK stands for (Rotarians Investing in Special Kids) and has always been our drawing at weekly meetings.  Half the proceeds go to the Foundation to support our programs and the other half to the winner. (As of 9/17 is $479)  Deadline to sign up to play for October is this Wednesday, 9/30.
This year it will have twist to allow those on Zoom and in the room to play and win.
1.) You must be signed up and paid before the 1st Thursday meeting of the month (9/30 for October)  You can give your money to Marlon at a meeting ($20 cash or check) or pay online at CLICK HERE.
2.) There will be one spot for half the pot and the others will be covered in a variety of prizes including gift cards and free lunches.
3.) One winner of half the pot per month.  If half the pot is not won in any given month, the RISK pot will continue to grow until it is won.
4.) Once the pot is won, we will give away the smaller prizes until the contest begins again in the next month.
Have fun and help us do some FUNdraising for our great Suburban Rotary Programs.
