Matt Thomas is the Principal Broker and Owner of Synergy Business Brokers, where he works closely with business owners to help them grow value and plan successful exits. He earned a Finance degree from the University of Nebraska and got his start as an entrepreneur by launching and selling a car transportation brokerage. From there, he moved into executive sales leadership roles in the automotive industry and later co-founded a startup, serving as CEO for over five years and leading the company through growth and a successful exit. Matt holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation and has completed all requirements for the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) credential, giving him the experience and perspective to guide owners through every stage of building and selling their business.
