More than 150 people including honored students, their parents, friends and school officials, as well as Rotarians and the mayors of Council Bluffs and Boystown attended the Scholarship Luncheon on April 17. The ballroom adorned with balloons in the colors and logos of the schools represented along with a slide show of the scholarship recipients and a list of donors who have given scholarships of $1,000 or more led to a joyous atmosphere. Our emcee, Clayton Anderson, the one and only former astronaut from Nebraska added witt and levity to his personal story and in his introductions of students. Rotarian table hosts introduced the remarkable students to the crowd.
