Last week Walt Horner reintroduced returning member Larry McNichols.  Larry was a member of Suburban Rotary back in 1970-1994.  He then helped found the Omaha South club and was the Charter President. He was a member of Omaha North until the club disbanded this year.  He has also served as a District Governor (1998-99) and was the 1990 Cadwallader Award Recipient. 
 
Larry holds degrees from Princeton and the Harvard Business School. He retired from advertising in 2001.  He also served in the U.S. Army for 30 years and was in combat in the Korean War. He retired in 1982 with many awards and decorations. His last assignment was Secretary of the Army's Office- he retired as a Colonel. 
 
Larry is married to Lannie and they have two children and two grandchildren.  His daughter, Eli, is also a Past President of North Rotary and a recent member of Suburban and is a third generation Rotarian.   Larry has been very active in a variety of community groups and organizations for his entire life in the area.  Welcome, Larry!
