Last week Wei Rowe introduced us to new member Jane Liu! Dr. Liu is an assistant professor in economics at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She is originally from north eastern part of China. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Calgary. Her work on macro econometrics and financial economics has been published on top journals such as Macroeconomic Dynamics and Journal of Financial Stability. She is an expert on Cryptocurrency. Her work on monetary aggregation has been cited by the Center for Financial Stability in New York City. She has been invited to workshops at Stanford University, research seminars at the University of Zurich and international conferences that were held at the Bank of England, MIT, among others.

In Dr. Liu’s spare time, she enjoys traveling, staying active and spending time with her family. Welcome, Jane!
