Last week Ann Olmsted introduced us to new member Mary Mitchell. Mary had a long and storied career in fashion, radio, and design. She holds a degree as a Fashion Illustrator from the Albright Art Institute and University of Buffalo. She worked for many fashion publications, stores, and was part-owner in Young and Mitchell Advertising.    She also worked as a freelancer. Mary also held part ownerships in the Golden Apple, Le Versaille French Restaurant and designed the Blue Fox Restaurant.

Mary and her late husband, John, were owners of Mitchell Broadcasting Company through 2000 and had 16 Mitchell radio stations.  Mary's late husband was a long-time Downtown Rotarian.   Currently retired, Mary is busy in a variety of volunteer organizations including All Holy Saints Church, Opera Omaha, and serves on the Board of The Wine and Food Society of London.

Welcome, Mary!
