Suburban Rotary is pleased to welcome its new Executive Secretary, Deborah "Debbie" Daley. A seasoned communications and marketing professional with an impressive 48-year career, Debbie brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Her career highlights include serving as Vice President of Communication and Marketing for the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C., where she earned recognition for her exceptional crisis management, media relations, and public speaking skills. In 2005, she was honored as PR Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Locally, Debbie has served as Public Relations Director at Creighton University, her alma mater, and Communications Director at Mercy High School in Omaha.
A Council Bluffs native, Debbie has shared her expertise with several boards, including the Omaha Press Club, Volunteers Assisting Seniors, and her townhouse association. An avid sports enthusiast, she passionately supports her beloved Creighton Bluejays and attends her grandnieces' and grandnephews' games. In her free time, she enjoys movies, theater, and writing for Women’s Edition. Suburban Rotary is thrilled to benefit from Debbie’s extensive experience and dedication to community engagement.
