Welcome Jonathan Davidson!

Last week Tom Kerfoot introduced us to new member Jonathan Davidson.  Jonathan (JD) has had a career in banking in Omaha and greater NE, he joined JPMC Commercial Banking- having helped “plant” the office for JPMC in 2017.

Jonathan is married to Kendra (29 years) and has three children, all grown and one is married- looking forward to grandkids.

Over the years, he has invested in the community by serving on several boards, including not for profits Habitat for Humanity, Midlands Community Foundation, as well as numerous Chamber and Sarpy County Boards. For many years, he has mentored elementary students at Franklin Elementary in North Omaha.

Jonathan is an avid reader and golfer, and also enjoys fishing and boating.  Welcome, Jonathan!

Welcome Jim Noland!
Last week Mary Bernier introduced us to new member Jim Noland.  Jim is an Omaha Native, having graduated from Westside High School and then on to UNL with a degree in Business Administration.

After College, Jim spent 35 years in southern California, first starting and building a computer company, taking it public at 25 years old. Then starting an Environmental business - American Environmental Group (AEG) - selling that business, and then building a successful construction business as a General Contractor for the last 20 years.

Jim moved back to Omaha a couple of years ago with his wife Gina and has been enjoying being back. Currently Jim & Gina have been remodeling homes for investments and Jim started-up his construction business here, Cornerstone Construction & Development, and re-connecting with old friends and family.

Jim’s hobbies include travel and golf and he’s looking to join a club. Jim became a professional golfer many years ago, and when he made more money in business than golf, he focused on where he could make the best living.

He’s the current President of his homeowner’s association, is now proud to be associated with Suburban Rotary and hopes to gain more friends and assist with the mission of our Rotary. Welcome, Jim!
Paul Harris Recognition
Last week Intl. Rotary Foundation Committee Chair, Scott Keep, recognized Patty Carrell (John Binderup ) and Mary Alice Laferla (Dave Laferla) as Paul Harris Fellows.     The Rotary Foundation supports projects around the world to promote peace, literacy, health, and disease eradication.   Congratulations and thank you!
