Last week Roxy Orr introduced us to new member Matt Maher.  Matt is an Independent Insurance Agent specializing in Medicare. He went to the University of Iowa. Matt has devoted most of his career as a business system analyst for World Insurance Company, Diversified Solutions and WoodmenLife. His significant other is Debbie. When not working Matt enjoys volunteering, playing golfing, fishing, cooking and reading.  Welcome, Matt!

 

Last week Past District Governor Roxy Orr recognized Curt Peters for his generosity as a Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation (cumulative $10K).   She also recognized Joanne Peters (Curt's mom and Rotary sponsor) as a Paul Harris Fellow+2 ($3000) via Zoom. Joanne also made her grandson Isaac Peters a Paul Harris Fellow.   We are very fortunate to have this very generous and active Rotary family in our club. Congratulations and thank you to all of them!

 

Two weeks ago Membership Chair Gary Beller announced our Membership Campaign to grow Suburban Rotary to full strength coming out of the pandemic.  What can you do to help? Consider all the enjoyment you have gotten from Rotary and use the QR code below to fill out the application to propose a new member.

 

Our goal is to reach 222 members in 2022.  We are at 183 now.
