Kelly has been part of the employment industry for 30 years. He worked for the last 11 years for Community Options Individual and Family Service as an Employment Specialist, working with individuals that receive disability benefits and helping them re-enter the workforce and become independent of their SSI or SSDI. Three years ago, he discovered a need in the community of an underserved population. When an individual is homeless or close to becoming homeless, coming out of recovery or reentering form incarceration, the transition back into the workforce can be not only difficult but overwhelming. He decided to establish It’s All About Employment in 2022, becoming a 501c3 non-profit in August of 2022.
Kelly has been in the Omaha metro for his entire life. He was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa and moved to Omaha when his was 16 years old. He graduated from Central High School in 1981. He has been married for 20 years to Connie Phillips Adams and has two grown sons.
