Currently a senior at Gretna East High School, Iori represents the vibrant spirit of cultural exchange fostered by Suburban Rotary. Not only is he an integral part of the Gretna East Soccer team, but he also delves into the realm of competitive E-Gaming, showcasing a diverse range of interests and talents.
During his presentation, Iori will enlighten us with captivating insights into Japanese culture and offer a firsthand account of his enriching journey in Nebraska since August 2023. Spearheading Iori's Rotary Youth Exchange experience is Curt Peters, the dedicated Rotary Youth Exchange Chair and esteemed Past President. Both Curt and Iori will share their perspectives, ensuring an engaging and enlightening Rotary meeting.
At its core, Rotary Youth Exchange embodies the mission of nurturing young leaders who champion peace and justice on a global scale. Through firsthand experiences like Iori's, participants not only gain cultural awareness but also cultivate invaluable leadership skills that may shape their future endeavors.
